ABOUT LAUREL
Laurel Brown is an attorney with unique expertise in Estate Planning and Elder Law matters. While in her early 30’s and raising two pre-school children, her late husband became medically disabled with heart disease. Laurel learned first-hand the complexities involved in estate planning and navigating elder law issues.
In 2002, Laurel enrolled in the paralegal program at Edmonds Community College, where she learned how to draft estate planning documents from instructors who were lawyers and judges. She then worked as a paralegal/case manager in a healthcare defense firm for several years.
After Laurel’s children were grown and her late husband required facility level care, Laurel went to law school. Here she focused on Estate Planning, Advanced Elder Law, and Health Law matters in order to advocate for others in these areas.
Laurel has a special level of insight and compassion because of her life experiences and brings that experience along with her knowledge and passion for helping others to work for each of her clients.
